Drum Encounters offers an innovative and dynamic approach to learning drums, suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced.

Open to ages 8 and up, this course blends traditional one-on-one lessons with a modern group-based format, enhancing interaction and ensemble play. The excitement of lots of drummers playing simultaneously is truly exhilarating!

How It Works?

Lessons cover a range of activities including technique, reading, listening, rhythm work, writing, and improvisation. Students explore various music styles and play along with a variety of songs.

Our main studio features two drum kits and practice pads, allowing students to rotate and experience different setups. The course emphasises group listening and teamwork, helping students develop essential ensemble skills.

Students have the option to take exams and progress through an accredited syllabus, with Grades 6–8 offering UCAS points.
