Piano / Keyboard Lessons at The Music Cube in Reading
Suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced, for ages 6 and up.
Our piano and keyboard lessons focus on developing the technique required for precision, fluency, creativity, and dynamic expression. Students explore a wide range of music styles, from rock and pop to classical and blues, while mastering essential skills such as rhythm work, listening, notation, reading, writing, theory, and improvisation.
Additional activities include playing along to songs, recording, and arranging. Students can choose to follow a more classical route or a contemporary one, with an introduction to a bit of everything at the beginning to help them find their preferred path.
Lessons are tailored to meet each student’s individual needs. Students have the option to take exams and progress through an accredited syllabus, with Grades 6–8 offering UCAS points. Teenage students can also integrate our lessons with activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Arts Award, or music GCSEs.
