Violin Lessons at The Music Cube in Reading
Suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced, for ages 6 and up.
Our violin lessons provide a well-rounded approach to string playing, focusing on developing technique, posture, bow control, intonation, and expressive playing. Students will also work on reading, listening, rhythm, and theory to build strong musical foundations.
Lessons include scales, arpeggios, and technical exercises, alongside a wide repertoire that can range from classical works to folk, film, and contemporary pieces. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual goals, ensuring steady progress and confidence in performance.
Students have the option to take exams and progress through an accredited syllabus, with Grades 6–8 offering UCAS points. Teenage students can also integrate their lessons with activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Arts Award, or music GCSEs.
